Competitive Junior RG is for our members aged 8 to 9 years old* and working towards Levels 1-3.
Junior RG classes develop coordination of body movements (balances, turns, leaps/jumps) with the apparatus, musicality, dance and confidence.
Competitive classes still incorporate fun and friendship but the class is focused on preparing the gymnast to attend competitions later in the year. Skills are strengthened and cleaned then put together into routines that the Gymnasts learns and competes.
Competitions at this age group are encouraging, supportive and enjoyable.
Members have the option to move between recreational and competitive Junior RG Classes.
This class option will enrol your child into Saturday Morning training sessions from 9:00am to 11:00am
*Age determined by how old they are turning this year, i.e. 8 = 7 turning, or has turned, 8 years old.
