Based at Thomas Hogg Oval, Narrogin and Districts Athletics is a community run athletics centre affiliated with Athletics West. We deliver a weekly spring/summer athletics program for Tiny Tots through to Adult Masters, fostering a family friendly, fun and inclusive space where kids and adults can:

Your Goals

At Narrogin and District Athletics we are all about teamwork, personal growth, and making athletics fun and accessible for all.  We believe in recognising and celebrating effort, improvement, and participation.  At our weekly sessions, members focus on achieving their Personal Best each week - it's what makes our sport unique, allowing each person to be fully engaged.

We also support and strive towards success at athletics competitions including the annual Wheatbelt Challenge in November and attendance at the WA Country Championships held in January each year, with potential to qualify for further State and National events.

A Rich History 

Formerly the Narrogin and Districts Little Athletics Centre, in 2026 the club expanded to include older members in both the  Open and Masters categories. This brought about the change in name to Narrogin and Districts Athletics.

With a rich and vibrant history, the 2026/2027 Athletics season sees Narrogin and Districts surpass 50 years running. As the former Narrogin and Districts Little Athletics Centre (NDLAC) we forged our beginnings at the start of the 1975/1976 Little Athletics season, only seven short years after the Little Athletics Association was born in Western Australia. In that year NDLAC became one of 19 affiliatted Little Athletics clubs based in WA, and one of six in a country/rural area.  

The introduction of the centre was very well recieved by the Narrogin and Districts community, it became home to athletes across 13 towns from the surrounding area. Making it's original home ground the Old Golf Club in Narrogin, NDLAC saw a total of 102 athletes competing in it's maiden season, the club has continued to see strong support through to the present day.   

The success of the Narrogin centre saw it awarded the prestige of holding the first ever State Country Championships. The inaugural Invitation Country Meet was held in Narrogin on the 13 February 1982.  In 1983/84 the name of the event was changed to Country Centres Championships,  and further changed to State Country Championships in 2000/01.  

There have been a number of home ground changes over years, with Narrogin and Districts Athletics  currently calling Thomas Hogg Oval in Narrogin its home.  Throughout time the uniform has also seen various updates with our most recent athletes competing in a royal blue shirt with emerald green sleeves and black shorts. The new name and brand will allow for a uniform update in the 2026-2027 season that will be phased in over 12 months or more.
