⚫🔴 MVC SOCIAL COMPETITION: SEASON 2 🏐

Join us for eight weeks of competitive and social volleyball! Enter with your own team or register individually and we’ll place you in one.

Competition Details

• Dates: Wednesday, 7 October – Wednesday, 25 November 2026
• Time: 7:00pm–10:00pm
  
  • Game times: 7:15pm and 8:45pm
  • Each timeslot includes a 15-minute warm-up followed by up to 75 minutes of game time
  • Matches may be played to five sets where time permits
  • Teams will also be rostered for refereeing and duty responsibilities. The full playing and duty schedule will be shared before the competition begins.
• Venue: Disability Sports Centre of Excellence, Rooty Hill
• Registration deadline: Monday, 5 October 2026 at 11:59pm AEDT
• Open to players aged 18 and over only

Registration

• Open to registered MVC members only
• Enter as a full team or as an individual
• Teams must have 6–8 players
• Individual entrants will be allocated to a team
• Individual players can nominate their preferred position and request teammates during registration. We’ll do our best to accommodate preferences, but placement cannot be guaranteed.
• No registration, no play

All players must hold a current MVC and Volleyball NSW membership. A Recreational Membership is suitable for social competitions.

Competition Fees

• Team registration: $550 per team
• Individual registration: $90 per player
• No payment, no play

Competition Rules

• Each team must include at least one female player
• At least one female player must be on court at all times
• No permanent middle or permanent libero
• If the ball hits the roof or a light fixture, it remains live and may be played
• All players must follow venue requirements and the reasonable directions of the MVC admi team

Important Acknowledgements

By registering, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have read and accepted the event waiver and understand that volleyball involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury
• You are medically fit to participate and will notify MVC of any relevant medical conditions or injuries
• You agree to follow the competition rules and venue requirements
• You understand that all players must hold a current MVC and Volleyball NSW membership
• You accept the payment terms outlined above
• You understand that registration fees are non-refundable after registrations close, including for missed games, withdrawal, injury or a change of circumstances
• Any refund or player substitution is at the discretion of the MVC President or Vice President
• If registering individually, you understand that preferred positions, teammate requests and team placement cannot be guaranteed
• You consent to photos and videos taken during the competition being used by MVC for promotional purposes. If you do not consent, please notify the MVC admin team before playing.
