How to apply for membership

To join the MCC Golf Section you must be a MCC member or on the official MCC Waiting list and be at least 18 years of age. Joining members are currently required to have both a Golf Australia ID# and an official handicap to enter our events.

Initially you will join the MCC Golf Section’s MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST until such time as places become available to admit you.Whilst you are on the Golf Section’s MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST you will be offered games as and when available.

If you are NOT currently a MCC member, the details and form to join the official MCC waiting list is available via https://mcc.org.au/about-the-club/waiting-list .Alternatively, you can wait until you are offered a membership of the Golf Section and then apply for the MCC Waiting list.If you need help with joining the MCC Waiting list you can send the forms to us and we will arrange lodgement on your behalf.

Please complete your online application for the MCC Golf Section’s MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST using the NEW MEMBER icon below. This will take you through the details required and how you can pay the MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST fee. Your Proposer and Seconder need to be current financial members of the Golf Section. If you need assistance with these please indicate that when completing the application. Applications are processed within a few weeks following payment of the requisite fee.

To join the MCC Golf Section’s MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST:

·      The one-off fee is $10.

To join the MCC Golf Section (when an offer is made to you):

·      There is a one-off joining fee of $85.

·      If you join between 1 January and 30 June, you pay a full year's subscription which is currently $70 (so total amount payable is $155).

·      If you join between 1 July and 31 December, you pay half a year's subscription (so total amount payable is $120).

At the time you Register you will be advised the total amount payable.

Your membership or MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST application will only be assessed following the payment of the total amount to the following account quoting your name.

If for any reason, your MEMBERSHIP WAITLIST or membership does not proceed, your application money will be refunded.   

Once you become a member of the Golf Section, your annual subscription renewal will be due on 1 January each year.

Our Terms of Membership

If you apply for membership of the MCC Golf Section Inc. you are agreeing to be bound by the Constitution and Rules of the MCC Golf Section (a copy of which is available below). 

Your annual subscription must be paid by 28 February each year to be eligible to play in our golf days as a member of the Golf Section and to receive emails from the Golf Section. If your annual subscription remains unpaid after 30 June, your membership will be cancelled.

Privacy Policy: The MCC Golf Section Inc complies with the MCC Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on the MCC website at www.mcc.org.au.

Code of Conduct Policy: The MCC Golf Section Inc conducts its events and activities in accordance with the requirements of the Code, as copy of which is below.
