Speed skating is about going fast on a set of inline or quad speed skates. But what is it really like...the adrenalin cuts in, the wind is in your face, and you are going fast cutting quick laps. A competitor looms up ahead of you, you push hard, blast past, take the lead, and win the race...YOU are a WINNER!
Want to experience it, lose weight or just get really fit, then come to Digi Roller Skating Rink, 40-44 Johnson Road, Hillcrest Qld 4118 on Friday evenings from 6.00pm to 7.00pm and we will teach you the craft of going fast.
Open to all ages, from junior to mature age, catering for both INLINE & QUAD speed skaters.
Club Achievements
2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 LCSSCI won the Title of Overall Club Champion at the Queensland State Championships. We had Medallists at the National Speed Skating Championships January 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 along with special members who made the Australia Team and who have represented their club and country at the WORLD Championships and Oceania Championships and who will once again represent us in 2016.
If you are competitive and have ambitions to become the best Roller Speed Skater in Queensland, then this is the club you should be a member of.
Club Objectives
In 2016 the Logan City Speed Skating Club has focused its club development goals on increasing membership, increasing club member benefits, further development of the club structure, skater & coach skills, and member communications. We want to be the best club in Queensland.
