Welcome to the Leven Yacht Club

We are a friendly community group providing sail training and senior racing in Ulverstone and along the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania. Whether you’re new to sailing or an experienced racer, there’s a place for you at LYC.

Activity Days

• Saturdays (and some Sundays)

Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.

Sailing on the Leven River has been documented for well over a century, and our current clubhouse—built in 1953—continues that proud tradition. The Leven Yacht Club actively promotes and encourages yacht racing on the river and along the coast.

Visiting yachtspeople and their families are always welcome.
