What a fantastic day on the water! Our Lakers Dragon Boat Club WA Open Day on Saturday, 24 October was a huge success, filled with fun, laughter, new faces and plenty of team spirit! ☀️🚣♀️
A big thank you to everyone who came along to give dragon boating a try. It was wonderful to welcome newcomers, introduce them to our sport, and share what makes the Lakers community so special.
From getting out on the water and learning the basics of paddling to enjoying a well-deserved sausage sizzle afterwards, the day was all about giving dragon boating a go, making connections and having fun together.
A huge shout-out to our amazing Lakers members who helped make the day possible. Your time, enthusiasm and support helped create such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who joined us.
At Lakers, we believe dragon boating is about more than just paddling. It’s about teamwork, friendship, community and finding your crew. Whether you’re looking for a new challenge, a fun way to stay active, or a place to meet great people, there’s a seat for you in our boat!
🚣♀️ Missed our Open Day? There's still time to join!
The excitement doesn't stop here! Our 2026–2027 dragon boat season runs from November 2026 to March 2027, and new members are welcome to join at any time.
