At Keppel Bay Karate-do Shotokan Karate, our mission is to foster a strong sense of belonging among our members while delivering top-tier karate training. About Sensei Robi, 4th Dan

Sensei Robi is a highly respected Shotokan Karate practitioner and instructor with an exceptional reputation in the martial arts community.

  • Achievements: Yondan (4th Dan) with over 30 years of karate training.
  • Coaching Excellence:   Sensei Robi's expertise and dedication ensure that each training session is a blend of tradition, modern technique, and personal growth.  She is now for Known for dedication and friendly guidance

 

Training Schedule

TUESDAY
  • Set up: Around 4:00pm
  • Traditional Karate: 4:30–5:30pm
  • Sports Karate: 5:30–6:30pm
  • All welcome to join both sessions!
THURSDAY 
  • Set up: Around 4:00pm
  • Traditional Karate: 4:30–5:30pm
  • Seniors Only: 5:30–6:30pm

Whether you're a beginner looking to start your karate journey or an experienced martial artist seeking to refine your skills, Keppel Bay Karate-do welcomes you.

ADVICE FOR NEW STUDENTS AND VISITORS:
  • Arrive a few minutes early for set-up and introductions.
  • Wear comfortable sports clothes if you don’t have a gi (karate uniform) yet.
  • Feel free to observe or participate in both Tuesday sessions.

The club was established in September 1990 and follows the teachings of the legendary Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke.

The club is registered with Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA), which is a branch of Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF), headed by Nobuaki Kanazawa Kancho.
