Ipswich Dragon Boat Club is committed to keeping club fees as low as possible to encourage more people to join the sport of dragon boating.We supply all equipment to get you started in the sport. Insurance costs are set by state and national body and are required all club paddlers.

Membership fees contribute towards the costs of club training equipment use, training aids, safety equipment, registrations, insurance costs, equipment repairs and maintanence.

Dragon Pass Q&A's
Q: What benefits do I get with a Dragon Pass? Unlimited training sessions at any club in Qld, personal insurance cover and access to your own member portal and more. Q: Can I participate in a regatta or event with Dragon Boat Queensland?
Yes you can attend any DBQ regatta whilst on a Dragon Pass, you just need to pay the regatta fees 
Q: How many clubs can I use my Dragon Pass one 1 month trial with? Your pass gives you access to unlimited sessions at any DBQ affiliated clubs in Queensland.
Q: What does membership cost me after my Dragon Pass expires?
You will be required to join a club and pay membership fees. You will also be required to register for annual membership with DBQ.

Fees covers you for 12 months from the date of registration. 

Please note: The one month Dragon Pass trial period commences from the date of registration.

This class of membership is only available to paddlers who hold current financial membership with another dragon boat club. Affiliate membership allows you to train with our club and also enter regattas with our team if your primary club is not racing (with the support of your primary club coach). # DBQ and insurance fee cost in one off per 12 month period and is costed to the age as per table above. This class of membership is available for those wanting to try the sport a little longer than the Dragonpass period, season visitors or those training for corporate or other community regattas. Casual members are eligible to compete at regattas with Ipswich Dragons as long as regatta date is within their membership period.
