Gym Fun Gymnastics Centre
Terms and Conditions
General
1. Term fees must be paid by the Friday of the first week of term. If fees are not paid by the due date, a reminder text message will be sent. If the parent/carer does not make arrangements with the Head Coach, gymnasts will be unable to attend their class until their term fees are paid.
2. All medical conditions/special needs/behaviour plans must be noted when enrolling. The Head Coach needs to be informed if information changes.
3. New gymnasts will be offered one trial class.
4. Gymnast registrations must be completed before commencing at GFGC (unless attending a trial class).
5. Registration forms must be kept up to date.
6. Gymnasts are not to attend if unwell.
7. Refunds or credits are not given for missed classes.
8. Unkind behaviour will not be tolerated.
9. Refunds or credits of registration fees are not given if your child stops attending GFGC.
10.NO food, drink or shoes on the gym floor.
11.If an evacuation is to occur, all attendees must follow the coaches instructions to safely exit the building.
Kindergym
1. We invite all siblings to attend Gym Fun Kindergym classes, however once they are 18 months of age, they must be enrolled into the class and registered.
2. All Kindergym children and their siblings must be closely supervised by their carer at all times.
3. Do not let any child other than your own, out of the gate from the gym floor.
WAG and Afternoon Recreation Classes
1. If your child misses a recreation class, make-up classes will be subject to availability.
2. WAG gymnasts will not be offered make up classes.
3. All gymnasts must abide by the behaviour policy.
4. Parents/carers must abide by the Drop Off and Pick Up policy.
Behaviour Policy
In the event that a gymnast displays negative behaviour that is undesirable the following steps will be taken:
1. The gymnast will be reminded of the expected behaviour at GFGC.
2. The gymnast will be removed from the group and they will be asked individually to follow the behaviour expectations.
3. If negative behaviour continues, the gymnast will be asked to cease training and will sit out for a period of time to reflect on their behaviour. When they are asked to return, they will be reminded of the expectations.
4. If a gymnast continues to display negative behaviour after repeated reminders and being removed from training for a period of time for reflection, parents/carers will be called and the gymnast will be sent home from training. Before returning to training, the gymnast and parents/carer will be required to meet with the Head Coach to discuss behaviour expectations.
Drop Off and Pick Up Policy
1. All gymnasts must be walked to the front door of the gym.
2. At pick up time, the parent/carer must walk up to the safety zone which is indicated by the cones at the front of the gym.
3. Gymnasts will be brought out by a coach. No gymnast will be allowed to leave the safety zone without a parent/carer.
