Season 2025/26 is upon us

Published Sun 05 Oct 2025

The GGSC Committee welcomes our new players and returning players (and some of those yet to register) to another summer of softball

Here is quick update in preparation for the commencing season:

Uniforms- new sponsor

The committee has finalised arragements with a new club sponsor. Every registered member will be getting given a new playing shirt displaying the new sponsor's logo. These should be available in the next few weeks. Look out for the big announcement introducing this sponsor!

Please also take this opportunity to order hats, visors, bucket hats and socks as your family needs so that we can also get these items in as soon as possible. There is also limited stock of club hoodies available in the shop. These items will not be re-ordered from the supplier unless there are enough back ordered to justify a print run, due to minimum numbers from the supplier.

To access the online store visit: Shop - Greystanes Giants Softball Club - revolutioniseSPORT

For new members, the stock available in our online store includes our compulsory uniform consisting of:

  • GGSC Playing Shirt
  • GGSC White and Red Socks
  • GGSC Cap, Visor or bucket hat

Despite our best efforts, shirts will not all arrive for the start of the season- remember we can play 3 weeks without full uniform whilst waiting on our suppliers. Those that have old shirts will be expected to wear them and new players can wear what they can.

Black pants are also needed. It is recommended to have softball or baseball pants as these offer better protection than tights. Shorts are permitted, but sliders are recommended underneath. Suggestions on where these can be purchased is further on in the email.

Training

Training will be held on Thursday evenings at Daniel St Park in Greystanes. Refer to your teams WhatsApp for more details.

Refer a friend for $10 off registration fees

As mentioned previously, all players that refer a new member to the sport, will recieve $10 off their rego.

Late registrations

All registrations should now be recieved. If you are yet to register please contact ASAP so that we can ensure that there is space in your requested teams.

Fundraising and Umpiring levy

Thanks to those who paid the umpiring levy and fundraising levy at registration. Unfortunately the system let players uncheck these charges. If you did not pay these charges you will be receiving an invoice to do so.

Remember CNSA requires that we take the umpiring levy to pay the plate umpires, and the fundraising levy means that there is no compulsory fundraising during the season. The levy is compulsory, but discounted for families with 4 or more players registered.

We are looking to enter the following teams this year:

  • Under 8s mixed tee ball (combo team)
  • Under 10s mixed tee ball
