Changes to the Competition

The Adelaide Softball Association (ASA) will be implementing many changes to this season competition. 

Age Groups and Playing Times

U10 Teeball – 9am

U13s – 10am

U16s – 12pm

U19s – 10am

A Grade – 2pm/4pm/6pm

B Grade – 2pm/4pm/6pm

C Grade 12pm/2pm/4pm/6pm

D Grade and E Grade – 12pm/2pm/4pm

Weather Policies and Make Up Rounds

Creation of Pre-scheduled ‘make up rounds’, one per month for games lost to weather.

Announced in full schedule draw release on Sundays and are mirror of game schedule lost to weather.

Hot weather policy replaced by ‘Softball Australia’s Heat Policy”

Wet weather protocols now minimum three hour announcement prior to schedule game time. ASA to ‘flex’ schedule to give best opportunity to play.
