SUMMER REPRESENTATIVE AWARDS

This is the tenth series of Girraween Athletics Club Summer Representative Awards since they were re-

introduced for the 2015-2016 summer season. This current season ran from September 2025 to April 2026.

There were a total of twenty-three events where our athletes scored points during the season. Five out of

the six awards were in the junior category. A particular shout out to both Lachlan Kidd and Ashleigh Farrugia

who finished first in the men’s and women’s category respectively. Both athletes competed very well in

events at both the state and national level. Here are the winners for the 2025-2026 summer season.

Women’s

1st Ashleigh Farrugia 315.50 pts

2nd Laura Corvalan-Sotomayor 174.50 pts

3rd Keshika Tharmanesan 54.50 pts

Congratulations to our winners who represented Girraween Athletics Club with distinction over a variety of

events across the 2025-2026 season. It was a remarkable achievement by all concerned.
