Represented at International Events in China, Hawaii and Hong Kong
Formed by a group of locals during the Millenium Drought to utilise Lake Forbes when it refilled after the drought as a "bit of fun". Some local breast cancer survivors were included and a public meeting was called. The club was formed with a lot of support from the Sport and Recreation Club who allowed a hired boat from DBNSW to be housed next to their club and then a shed to be built on their land.
The Forbes Dragon Boat Club now has 34 members.
