Hookin2Hockey is a fun and welcoming 6-week beginner hockey program for children aged 5–10 years. Kids will learn new hockey skills, build confidence, make new friends and discover why hockey is one of Australia's most exciting team sports.

Every new participant who registers for the full program will receive a FREE Hockey Starter Kit (stick, shin pads and ball), ready for collection during Week 2 or 3. All equipment is provided throughout the program, so children can get started straight away.

Already a junior member? We'd love you to help introduce a friend to hockey!

Junior members are FREE to attend when bringing their bestie on Monday 27 July, and help teach them the basics, build confidence and enjoy their first hockey experience together. We encourage junior members to continue supporting and encouraging their friend throughout the six-week program.

Celebration Match Day

As a special finale to the Hookin2Hockey program, all participants are invited to join us on Saturdayth 29 August for a fun Celebration Match against some of our FNCHI junior players. Scheduled for approximately 12:00 pm, the game will give children the exciting opportunity to experience a full-field hockey match, showcase the skills they've learned and meet other junior players of a similar age and ability.

The match will be played between the semi-final junior and senior men's match competition games, creating a fantastic atmosphere for players and families alike. We'll also be firing up the BBQ, and we encourage parents, grandparents and friends to come along, cheer on the children and celebrate everything they've achieved throughout the program.

It's the perfect way to finish six weeks of fun, learning and new friendships—and perhaps the beginning of a lifelong love of hockey! 🏑
