Free Hockey Starter Kids for New FNCHI Members - Winter Hockey Competition 2026

All kids between 4 to 7 years of age are WELCOME!

Inclusive and engaging 8-week program introducing basic hockey skills and challenging age-appropriate games in a safe, friendly and sporting environment. Kids will learn through clear instructions, demonstrations, and fun challenging drills, and games. 

Experienced, Qualified & Certified Coaches (wwcc).

After 8-weeks, training may continue throughout the season if there remains a continual interest. 

Program is specifically designed to equip kids with all the basic skills and knowledge to play in club-based, age-appropriate, competitive games in the Far North Coast Winter Competition (13th March) if they choose to participate.

A fun, modern FREE hockey training program designed for young children (new or existing), aged 4 to 7 years.

Team sports play an important role in early childhood development. They help young children build confidence, learn cooperation, develop communication skills, and build positive friendships.

Kids will also have an incredible amount of fun learning such a skillful and exciting game. Through playful drills and mini-games, children stay active while developing coordination, balance, and confidence.
