Product description
The Elite Pitching and Mechanical Assessment is a one on one session where your delivery is assessed in person, on video and on radar, rather than from footage alone.
The session is run by Ryan Searle, drawing on more than 20 years in professional baseball including time in the Chicago Cubs organisation, AAA, Team Australia and championship level professional competition.
Being on the field means your mechanics can be tested rather than just observed. Ryan can change something and see immediately whether it holds, which is the fastest way to find what is actually limiting velocity or command rather than what appears to be.
You receive a written report covering your strengths, your priority development areas in order, and the direction your training needs to take. The drill work itself begins in your next session, where it can be taught, corrected and progressed properly rather than guessed at from a page.
An assessment is required before starting ongoing training with Elite, as it is how we know what we are working with. Where ongoing places are on a waitlist, completing the assessment is what puts you on it.
Suitable primarily for pitchers, and also for position players, junior athletes, senior players and adults.
Note: this is a coaching assessment, not a medical or physiotherapy service. It is not a diagnosis and it does not screen for or rule out injury.
