About

The Echuca Moama Hockey Club is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation made up of passionate locals from the Campaspe and Murray Shires. Established in 1977, EMHC is proudly entering its 49th year of offering the sport of field hockey to our region. We are a family-oriented club with a strong sense of community and a proud home ground located within the grounds of Echuca College.

Our club is dedicated to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for players of all ages and abilities. We pride ourselves on fostering a love for hockey while promoting teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship both on and off the field.

EMHC is run entirely by dedicated volunteers who form the club committee, people who share a genuine passion for the game and a strong commitment to building a positive club culture. With a focus on player development and community involvement, we offer opportunities for juniors, seniors, families, and supporters to connect, grow, and enjoy the game together. Over the years, we have celebrated the success of players who have progressed to represent regional, state, and national teams.

In 2025, our club welcomed 99 members, including 36 juniors, and proudly fielded the following teams in the Goulburn Valley Hockey Association:

4 senior teams – Women’s x2, A Grade Men, B Grade Men
3 junior teams – Under 12s x2, Under 15s
Under 10s Hook in2 Hockey program

We also entered a senior men’s team in the Regional Hockey League, and one of our women’s teams celebrated back-to-back premiership wins in 2024 and 2025. A fantastic achievement for the club.

As we look ahead to the 2026 season, we are excited to see our teams continue to grow, compete, and achieve great things on and off the field.
