Registration - Total Cost
Total Registration cost (including transaction fees) differs per age group and is made up of an Association fee plus a Club fee (minus the various discounts on offer).
Association fees are set by MSW Hockey, Hockey NSW and Hockey Australia and collected directly at the time of registration. This covers complex running & maintenance costs, events (HockeyOne), administrative costs, and a very basic player insurance policy. Easts strongly recommends that all players are also covered by their own private health insurance policy.
Our Club fees partially cover the competition entry fees, umpire fees, field hire for training, presentation costs and player trophies. These fees are heavily subsidised through our sponsors & regular fundraising (weekly Meat Raffles & Quarterly Bunnings BBQs).
