The East Gippsland Hockey Association (EGHA) is a field hockey league in the East Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia.
The EGHA competition is typically held over the winter period, between April - September.
The league features seven divisions: Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Women & Open.
There are seven Clubs affiliated with the EGHA.
Three Sale-based clubs (Maffra, Sale & Wellington); Mitchell River & Swan Reach in Bairnsdale; Orbost and Latrobe Valley
Gippsland Championships
East Gippsland Hockey Association will be running the 2026 Gippsland Championships on October 10th and 11th 2026 at GRSC Sale. EGHA will be competing with Latrobe Valley HA and West Gippsland HA over the two days. The Gippsland Championships showcases the best junior and senior players across the three
Associations. The event includes a talent identification component managed by Gippsland Sports Academy.
