Renewing your membership for 2026
Here is a short summary of memberships available at DTTA this year.

Table Tennis Australia (TTA) and our Club are keen for renewals and new memberships to be completed online reducing the need for manual membership entries (paper form and cash/EFT). You will not be paying a card surcharge for online renewals. So you only pay the membership amount and other fees such as credit card surcharges are absorbed by DTTA. We hope that encourages you to trust and use the online registration system!)

Note: The new Junior membership is mandatory for all Juniors doing Club Coaching sessions including the holiday coaching. Juniors playing in Comp should register as Club Comp (Concession).
All memberships except Fun and Fan include insurance provided by TTA.

Our DTTA membership categories fit in like this:
- Gold, Adult Comp, Concession Comp - all fit into Club Comp(Adult)
- Social, Senior, Swish, Junior - all fit into Club Play
- Non-playing volunteers - fit into Non-playing

Free access to Club Practice sessions is included in Gold, Club Comp and Club Play memberships.

Notes:
- Gold membership also includes match fees for seasons 1 and 2, and free entry to the Darwin Open.
- We have to cover the same TTA/TTNT components (deductions) for DTTA Club Comp (Concession) as Club Comp (Adult). But we think it is important to offer a Concession for Junior Comp players and State Age pensioners and other relevant concessions.
- Social, Seniors, Swish all belong to Club Play and all have the same TTA/TTNT components (deductions). Seniors pay a weekly fee of $5. Swish pay a fortnightly fee of $5.
- Seniors can attend club practice sessions as part of their membership.
- DTTA is introducing a new membership for Juniors enrolled in Junior Coaching Terms. There is no Junior Membership category in the new TTA structure. Our fee of $35 just covers the TTA/TTNT components under the "Club Play" class of membership. But we think it is important that our juniors are covered by insurance. The Junior membership will be mandatory for any junior taking part in Term and school holiday coaching. Juniors who play in Comp will register as Club Comp (Concession) instead of Junior Membership. NT Govt Sport Vouchers cover Club Comp (Concession) Membership.
- We are not charging a fee for the "Non-Playing" class of membership, even though TTA does deduct fees for this class. We don't feel we should ask people who volunteer for our club (but do not play) to pay a membership fee, eg non-playing umpires, committee members. There is still a TTA component of $23.50 to pay which will be subsidised by the Club.
- TTA/TTNT offer half year and quarter year memberships for Club Comp (Adult) but do not offer half year reductions for any other membership class. But DTTA will continue to offer half year memberships and will absorb the extra TTA/TTNT component costs for Club Play class of membership for Social, Senior and Swish. Half year membership details will be available next year.
We encourage you to register online rather than Cash or EFT payments. There will be QR code posters at the Club to direct you to the online membership web page.
You will need your National Member ID number to renew online. Your ID was on your membership tax invoice issued when you registered.
