The Seniors group is planning to run an end of year Seniors Competition - Tuesday 9 December, 9am to 11am.

Lenny Welsford will put up a sign up list at the hall so we have an idea of who wants to play. This competition is for 2025 seniors members.

Events will be a mixed doubles - partners to be drawn - and a handicap singles, the handicaps will be decided by the organisers (Lenny, Geni, Gavin and Ann).

Whoever has the smaller handicap will start each set on zero and the person with the greater handicap will start at minus. eg if Gavin is handicap 30 and Ann is handicap 10, then Gavin will start on minus 20 and Ann on zero for each set played. You still play to 11. Games will be umpired and scoreboards used (if we can adapt them for the handicaps).

For those who do not want to play in the competition, table 6 will be left available for you. But we hope everyone will join in if you are available on that day.

It might go on beyond 11am.

The first rounds will probably be played in round robin groups to ensure everyone gets more than 1 match.

There won't be any entry fees, just the usual $5 attendance fee. There will be certificates for winners and runners up.
