Welcome to the Dowerin Hockey Club

Established in 1927.

The Dowerin Hockey Club is part of the Mortlock Hockey Association which spans across the Western Australian Wheatbelt region and includes the communities of  Calingiri, Dalwallinu, Gingin, Goomalling & Toodyay.  

Our compeition is held during the winter, and follows the same fixtures as the Mortlok Football and Mortlock Netball. This means only one day of travel for the whole family to enjoy their winter sports! Matches are played on grass fields, and predominantly on Sundays, with the occasional Saturday fixture. When numbers are high we have the opportunity to register teams in the Avon Hockey Association who prodominantly play on Saturdays, with the occasional Friday night fixture.

Our club is comprised of three different grades of competition; Minkey, Juniors and Seniors. Minkey is a non-competitive mixed competition, Juniors is a mixed competion and Seniors is a women's competition with the inclusion of boys. Players of all abilities are welcome to join in our competition.

Player Registrations are essential and anyone wanting to register for the following non-playing membership categories can use the Registration tab on the navigation bar above - Coach/Manager, Life Members, Social Members & Umpires.
