Welcome to Douglas Park Wilton Athletics

Douglas Park Wilton Athletics Club offers a fun, inclusive & supportive environment for athletes of all abilities. Whether your child is trying athletics for the first time, wants to have fun with friends, learn new skills or is striving to compete at a higher level, there's a place for everyone.

Club competitions are held Friday evenings at Douglas Park Oval with athletes arriving by 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start (Javelin fortnightly from 5pm). Athletes from Tiny Tots through to Under 17s enjoy a variety of running, jumping, and throwing events throughtout the season.

We encourage athletes to challenge themselves, achieve personal bests & enjoy being active. For those wishing to take their athletics further, club competition provides a pathway to represent Douglas Park Wilton Athletics at Zone, Region, State & higher level competitions.

As a volunteer-run club, we ask all families to lend a hand during competition nights. No experience is necassary.

The first competition night of the 2026/27 season will be held Friday 18th September at 5:30pm.

Events: 4-7 events per age group each week based on a fortnightly rotating program
