The committee have organised a paddle and family picnic day on Sunday June 1st departing from Franklin.

We plan to paddle to Huonville and return (weather and water permitting). Following the paddle, we will have a picnic lunch at Franklin. Options for the picnic are up to you, BYO food etc, or make use of one of the eateries around the town. If you are unable to paddle, you may like to just come and join us for a picnic lunch.

This will be the final opportunity for our Ord River paddlers to get a longer paddle in before heading off to the (warmer weather) Marathon. Please respond to this TeamApp invitation so that we can organise the boats required. If you are unable to register on TeamApp, please email derwentstorms@gmail.com and we can add your name/s to the list. This is always a great opportunity for ALL members to enjoy a good long scenic paddle. The support boat will be accompanying us all the way.

Many of you may remember our wonderful paddle at Margate last year which was very much enjoyed by all.
