Thank you all for the positive comments we received following the Tasmanian Dragon Boat Championships.  It really was a lovely day full of all the fun, camarade and good racing that we expect from these Championships.

 

Congratulations to all who participated and wow, how good were those close finishes!  Great work by the Club coaches to get their crews ready for this regatta. Judging by the smiles (and sometimes exhaustion) on the paddlers, drummers and sweeps faces at the end of their race showed how determined you all were to do your best.

 

To our Clubs who lent us your equipment for this Regatta, thank you, your ongoing support of this Regatta is much appreciated.

 

As mentioned at the Celebration ceremony this regatta could not run without the assistance of our dedicated Officials, volunteers and helpers.  This year our program was much larger than normal and it ran ahead of schedule all day allowing us time to have a fun sprint race at the end of the program.  What a great job!  Tank you Officials, volunteers and helpers and special thank you Ali Mourant for coordinating these tasks!
