DRAGON BOAT TASMANIA
Dragon Boat Tasmaia is the State Governing Sporting Organisation for the sport of Dragon Boat racing in Tasmania. Affiliated with Dragon Boat Tasmania are seven Dragon Boat Clubs: MoCo, Georges Bay, Dragons Abreast Devonport, North Esk, Dragons Abreast Hobart, Derwent Storms and Deloraine Flames.
Dragon Boat Tasmania is affiliated with the Australian Dragon Boat Federation (AusDBF) and is subject to its Policies, including the National Integrity Framework, which can be viewed on the AusDBF policies webpage.

Statewide Regatta Series 26/27 - Kicks off!
We are very excited to announce the following dates for the Statewide Regatta Series
Regatta #1 organised by Derwent Storms on 18th October 2026 at the New Norfolk Rowing Club.
Regatta #2 organised by Deloraine Flames on 5th December 2026 on the Meander River, Deloraine
Regatta #3 organised by Georges Bay on 16th January 2027 at O'Connors Beach St Helens. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available!

Statewide Regatta Series 2026/27
Expressions of Interest information has been sent to all Tasmanian Clubs to be apart of the 2026/27 Statewide Regatta Series. Clubs have been asked to reply to dbtasmania@gmail.com by 15th July 2026 with the following information-
1. Our Club intends to hold a Regatta as part of the Statewide Regatta series.
Then please state when and where and what events as well as any assistance
needed.
2. Our Club does not intend to hold a Regatta as part of the Statewide Regatta
series.

Derwent Storms will be hosting State wide Regatta series #1 at New Norfolk Esplanade on Sunday 18th October 2026. If a club does not have sufficient numbers to enter a full team, please contact Derwent Storms. Races will be with 10's crews in 20's boats
