🤝 A Greater Dandenong & LOOPS Initiative

🌏 Vision

Country ConnecTT aims to strengthen the connection between metropolitan and regional table tennis communities by providing meaningful development opportunities for athletes, coaches and parents.

💡 The initiative is built on the belief that talent exists throughout Victoria and that access to quality learning experiences should not be limited by geography.

🔄 Through regular training opportunities, coach engagement and knowledge sharing, Country ConnecTT seeks to support the long-term growth of regional athletes, coaches and clubs.

🎯 Objectives

Country ConnecTT will:

🏓 Provide regional and country athletes with access to high-quality training environments.

👨‍🏫 Support the development of regional coaches.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Assist parents to better understand athlete development pathways.

🤝 Strengthen relationships between metropolitan and regional clubs.

📚 Share practical knowledge, drills and systems that can be taken back to local clubs.

🌐 Create greater connectivity across the Victorian table tennis community.

🏗️ Program Structure

🏓 Regional Development Sessions

Greater Dandenong Table Tennis and LOOPS will jointly promote a series of Country ConnecTT sessions throughout the year.

📋 Initial Proposal

📅 Approximately 10 sessions annually.

🔵 Around 5 sessions promoted through LOOPS.

🟢 Around 5 sessions promoted through Dandenong.

👥 Open to regional and country athletes, coaches and parents.

LOOPS session

They will allow players to attend all day, with the following dedicatted training sessions.

10:00am - 12:00pm

1:30pm - 3:00pm

3:30pm - 5:00pm

 Players can attend and leave at times that suit them.
