DragonPass for new paddlers

When you register for a 'Dragon Pass' you are entitled to unlimited FREE paddling sessions for one month. This includes all coaching, insurance and equipment. Click the 'New Member' button below, provide your name, date of birth and gender identity before selecting 'Dragon Pass' and completing the online form. 

Register or Renew

To register for the first time, click the 'New Member' button below, choose the appropriate membership category and pay the fee.

To renew your membership, click on 'Returning Member' below, choose the appropriate membership category and pay the fee.

ThIs first step is to register with DBACT. Once you've completed this registration, click the link in your confimation email to register with DAA.

Make sure you have a passport style photo ready to upload with your registration. This is required to participate in DBACT regattas and events.

Membership Categories:

• Dragon Pass ($0): I'm new to dragon boating and want a free month's trial
• Sports Membership ($300): I want to join Dragons Abreast Canberra as a paddling member
  • Breast Cancer Survivor/Thriver member: open to all people who have had a diagnosis of breast cancer during their life
  • Supporter member: open to people with a close association with a breast cancer survivor, or have demonstrated an understanding of the ethos of DAA, or are involved professionally with Survivors. Please note: supporter membership requires an application to the DAC committee so BEFORE you register, please contact our membership officer for information about how to apply.
• Student Membership ($190): I want to join Dragons Abreast Canberra as a paddling member and I am a full-time student
• Volunteers & Supporters ($0): I want to join Dragons Abreast Canberra as a non-paddling member

All the equipment you need to paddle is supplied by either Dragons Abreast Canberra or DBACT. You don't need to buy any special equipment to participate.
