On 9 May 2021, DA Canberra enjoyed paddling to Rond Place Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) to cheer on the walkers/runners around Central Basin. Kath and Kim (aka Kathy Hayes and Wendy Ceravolo) joined us and shared the drumming. Amanda Ferris and Kathy Hayes highlighted the value of the MDC, Dragons Abreast and BCNA in an excellent article by Bina Brown in the City News. Natalie Evans-Sandell supported the MDC with a brilliant interview on ABC 666 Radio on 3 May on metastatic breast cancer and the high costs.
