  • A new home for GoAnna1. On 4 July 2021 we prepared GoAnna1 for her new home in Beechworth. Special thanks to John C and Kyle for transporting. Thank you to DAC, Invictus, Diamond Phoenix and Navmat members who helped load her onto the trailer. She will now be back on the water at Beechworth Golden Serpents Dragon Boat Club, Victoria. • It was all smiles and thumbs up from the Dragons Abreast Canberra crew for our first Saturday morning paddle on 16 October 2021 after coming out of our Canberra COVID-19 lockdown. We were able to shelter from the wind and paddle in the sunshine down the Molonglo River, before a more strenous paddle back home into Lake Burley Griffin against the wind. Great paddling crew in our 10s boat "Gecko". Thanks to Lyndall for sweeping. Photo credit: Lyndall Millward-Bason
