Success at Lunar New Year 2023 regatta

On a warm Sunday, the team successfully competed in Dragon Boat Victoria's Lunar New Year regatta, fielding crews in the Open, Women's and Senior A categories. We enjoyed success on the day.

LNY 2023

Through great leadership of our coaches and captains, we have been working together to achieve both personal and team goals. With value, respect and support for each other, we create an environment of positivity and encouragement, and push each other towards collective efficiency and growth. This bodes well for our preparation for the upcoming Dragon Boat Victoria and Australian Dragon Boat Federation Championships.

Incidentally, DBV's Lunar New Year Festival regatta, which brings crews together from across the state in fast 200m racing was showcased by The Age newspaper and featured our club (a photographer captiured us in action during training on the Saturday).
