Their passion, dedication, and drive set the tone for our crew – pushing us to train harder, race stronger, and always support one another.

🤸‍♀️ Meet Elgar Tang, Seniors Captain

Originally from Hong Kong, Elgar brings a wealth of paddling experience to our crew. With years on the water and a passion for the sport, she knows how to get the best out of every paddler. Oh, and did we mention? She can pull off a mad handstand — serious balance on land and in the boat!

🚴 Meet Pedro, Prem’s Captain

When he’s not leading the opens crew, you might spot Pedro powering through epic rides — like the 145km Great Ocean & Otway Classic he conquered in April. Off the water (and the bike), Pedro’s all about strategy and fun, taking his competitive streak to the board game table. 

🪂 Meet Tam, Vice Captain

A proud Kiwi, Tam loves to fly - literally. She’s been skydiving more than once and plans to jump in as many countries as she can. If it gets the heart racing, Tam’s all in! When she’s not jumping out of planes, she’s making magic as a fashion couturier, creating stunning pieces that have graced TV screens, red carpets, and magazines. 

🍕 Meet Baris, Vice Captain

During his university days, Baris scored free pizza regularly for three whole years… and then didn’t eat a single slice for the next two. Talk about self-control! Off the water, he’s as fun as he is determined on it — bringing great energy (and maybe pizza recommendations) to every session.
