What a buzzing hot day on the water for the club at the Dragon Boat Victoria Nagambie Regatta this past Sunday! ☀️

A few highlights worth celebrating:

💪 Grit over everything. Even when we were short a bench or a paddler, it didn’t change how hard we fought for every result on the water. If anything, it showed just how much heart, determination and resilience this crew has.

🐉 SheDragons showed up in force! What an incredible turnout. Every paddler, every crew and every race was another reminder that we’re stronger together. We lift each other up, dig deep when it gets tough, and prove that when we paddle as one, we can achieve amazing things.

🏆 Top-three finishes in every category we entered! That’s consistency, teamwork and determination across the board. Something to be seriously proud of.

 🥈 Women’s 20 – 1km: 2nd

 🥈 Senior Open 10 – 1km: 2nd, just 0.69 seconds off the win!
 🥉 Open 10 – 1km: 3rd
 🥇 Women’s 10 – 1km: 1st

This was a wonderful appetiser and just the beginning! The racing is only going to get hotter and spicier from here as we build towards AusChamps2027.

A massive thank you to Dragon Boat Victoria, all the volunteers, fellow clubs, and especially our coaches, captains, committee and club family. Race days have plenty of moving parts, and we appreciate everyone who helps keep things running smoothly.
