An international podium finish for the CYSM Sea Dragons! 🌊🐉

The CYSM Sea Dragons proudly represented at the 2025 Hualien Pacific International Dragon Boat Festival (on Liyu Lake, Hualien, Taiwan from 24-26 October), with our Mixed 10s crew delivering an exceptional performance on the international stage.

The team travelled with the goal of enjoying every moment while giving their best in every stroke and they certainly did not disappoint. Across all events, the camaraderie, dedication, and sportsmanship demonstrated truly reflected the CYSM spirit.

Beyond the races, the experience was filled with connection and learning — rekindling friendships, forging new ones, and strengthening the bonds that make our team so special. Each race offered valuable lessons, and the team improved with every heat, even earning recognition from fellow competitors for our determination and performance.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Sea Dragons community — from those who trained and raced alongside us, to our families, friends, and supporters who provided unwavering encouragement throughout this journey. This collective effort made our participation and success possible.

💨 500m – 21st place (of 63 teams)
⚡ 200m – 29th place (of 60 teams)
