The Central West Regional Championships will be held in Orange on the 3rd and 4th of August at Central West Gymnastics.
The championships are for selected gymnasts in our Team Gym, GFA and Gym Sport development classes. They are also for selected WAG gymnasts in squads and regional levels classes in level 1 - 8.
WAG levels 3 - 4
The championships is also State selection for WAG levels 3 and 4 for State Championships.
Gymnasts must be selected for these teams. The top 40 gymnasts in each level who achieve a 34.00 overall or above will be selected in the teams.
State Championships is held at the Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre in Rooty Hill. Level 4 is the 12th and 13th of October and level 3 the 26th and 27th of October. Gymnasts that are selected in the team will need to purchase a regional leotard for State.
Team Gym
The Championships are also a State qualifier for team gym. State Championships for team gym is on the 16th of November in Sydney.
GFA recreational levels
This year the region is introducing recreational levels to the championships. This is open to Gymnasts in our Gym Fun, Gym Skills and Teen levels classes.
Entries due 3rd of July. Entry fee is $50 and must be paid when registering for the event.
