Red Squad is for selected competitive trampoline gymnasts who have developed and refined the fundamental skills, shapes and techniques required for trampolining and are ready to focus on more advanced skill development.
Gymnasts will continue building their skills and routines as they progress through the Australian Levels Program.
What Will Gymnasts Learn?
Gymnasts will train across a range of equipment, including:
Training will have an increased focus on skill development, technique, body control, strength, skill connections and competition routines to support continued progression through the levels.
Gymnasts will learn routines set by Gymnastics NSW, based on Gymnastics Australia’s Australian Levels Program.
Competition Opportunities
Red Squad gymnasts will have the opportunity to participate in a range of competitions throughout the year, including:

CWG Club Carnivals

Inter-club competitions

Regional competitions

State-level events
Competition opportunities will depend on each gymnast's level, skill development and readiness.
Selection
Red Squad is by selection only.
If your child is interested in progressing through the Competitive Trampoline pathway, please speak with CWG Admin regarding assessment and pathway opportunities.
Uniform
Gymnasts participating in competitions will be required to wear the appropriate CWG competition uniform.
CWG club and training uniforms are available through our online uniform shop.
