Green Squad is a competitive trampoline squad for selected gymnasts who are ready to continue developing their fundamental trampoline skills, shapes and technique.
Gymnasts will build their knowledge and skill level while beginning to learn the skills and routines required to progress through the Australian Levels Program.
What Will Gymnasts Learn?
Gymnasts will train across a range of equipment, including:
Training will focus on developing correct technique, body shapes, body control, strength, fundamental trampoline skills and competition routines.
Gymnasts will learn routines set by Gymnastics NSW, based on Gymnastics Australia’s Australian Levels Program.
Competition Opportunities
Green Squad gymnasts will have the opportunity to participate in a range of competitions throughout the year, including:

CWG Club Carnivals

Inter-club competitions

Regional competitions

State-level events
Competition opportunities will depend on each gymnast's skill development and readiness.
Additional Tumbling
Green Squad gymnasts are highly encouraged to attend an additional Tumbling class to further develop their tumbling skills, strength and technique.
Selection
Green Squad is by selection only.
If your child is interested in progressing into Competitive Trampoline, please speak with CWG Admin regarding assessment and pathway opportunities.
Uniform
Gymnasts participating in competitions will be required to wear the appropriate CWG competition uniform.
CWG club and training uniforms are available through our online uniform shop.
