WAG League 4 is the next step in our CWG League pathway for gymnasts who have met the required skills in our League 3 program and are ready to continue progressing their gymnastics.
Gymnasts must be assessed and selected by a CWG coach before enrolling in this class.
What Will Gymnasts Learn?
Gymnasts will continue to develop and progress their skills across the four Women’s Artistic Gymnastics apparatus:
Training also includes strength, conditioning and flexibility to support more advanced skill development and progression.
CWG League Pathway
Our CWG League program is a recreational-based competition pathway designed to give gymnasts the opportunity to experience competition in a fun, positive and supportive environment.
Gymnasts in League 4 will have the opportunity to participate in CWG Club Carnivals and Regional events, competing in Entry League and Pre League.
Selected gymnasts may also have the opportunity to compete at AGC (Australian Gymnastics Competition) events.
Training Commitment
League 4 is a three-times-per-week training program. Gymnasts are required to commit to all three training sessions each week:
Monday: 5:00pm–7:00pm
Tuesday: 4:00pm–6:00pm
Friday: 4:00pm–6:00pm
Regular attendance at all sessions is important to ensure gymnasts can safely progress their skills and keep up with the program.
Uniform
Gymnasts are encouraged to wear CWG colours – navy, purple or aqua – to training.
CWG leotards are available through our online uniform shop; however, these are not compulsory for training.
Summer: Leotard and shorts
Winter: Long tights, long-sleeve leotard and CWG jumper. No hoods are permitted.
Gymnasts who compete will also require the appropriate CWG competition uniform.
