WAG League 3 is the next step in our CWG League pathway for gymnasts who have met the required skills through our League 1 and League 2 programs and are ready to continue progressing their gymnastics.
Gymnasts must be assessed and selected by a CWG coach before enrolling in this class.
What Will Gymnasts Learn?
Gymnasts will continue to develop and progress their skills across the four Women’s Artistic Gymnastics apparatus:
Training also includes strength, conditioning and flexibility to support more advanced skill development and progression.
CWG League Pathway
Our CWG League program is a recreational-based competition pathway designed to give gymnasts the opportunity to experience competition in a fun, positive and supportive environment.
The program allows gymnasts to see their individual progress while also enjoying the benefits of being part of a team.
Gymnasts in League 3 will have the opportunity to participate in CWG Club Carnivals and Regional events.
Training Commitment
League 3 is a twice-weekly training program. Gymnasts are required to commit to both training sessions each week:
Wednesday: 5:00pm–6:30pm
Friday: 4:00pm–5:30pm
Regular attendance at both sessions is important to ensure gymnasts can safely progress their skills and keep up with the program.
Uniform
Gymnasts are encouraged to wear CWG colours – navy, purple or aqua – to training.
CWG leotards are available through our online uniform shop; however, these are not compulsory for training.
