What Will Gymnasts Learn?
Gymnasts will continue to develop and progress their skills across the four Women’s Artistic Gymnastics apparatus:
Training also includes strength, conditioning and flexibility to support skill development and progression.
CWG League Pathway
Our CWG League program is a recreational-based competition pathway designed to give gymnasts the opportunity to experience competition in a fun, positive and supportive environment.
The program allows gymnasts to see their individual progress while also enjoying the benefits of being part of a team.
Gymnasts in League 2 will have the opportunity to participate in CWG Club Carnivals and Regional events.
Training Commitment
League 2 gymnasts choose one class per week.
As gymnasts progress through the CWG League pathway, their training commitment and competition opportunities increase.
Uniform
Gymnasts are encouraged to wear CWG colours – navy, purple or aqua – to training.
CWG leotards are available through our online uniform shop; however, these are not compulsory for training.
Summer: Leotard and shorts
Winter: Long tights, long-sleeve leotard and CWG jumper. No hoods are permitted.
Gymnasts who choose to compete will also require the appropriate CWG competition uniform.
