Our KinderGym classes are designed for little gymnasts aged 1–5 years and provide a fun, safe and engaging introduction to movement and gymnastics.

KinderGym is Gymnastics Australia’s movement-based program for young children, designed to develop the fundamental movement skills needed for an active and healthy life. Children learn through play, exploration and discovery while developing:

• Balance and coordination

• Strength and flexibility

• Fundamental movement skills

• Body awareness

• Confidence and independence

• Social and cognitive skills

Parent/Caregiver Assisted

A parent or caregiver must remain with their child and actively participate throughout the class, providing encouragement and assistance where needed.

KinderGym allows children to explore movement at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment. Through a variety of activities, children are encouraged to move, think, create, explore and problem-solve using their bodies.

Central West Gymsports is a Gymnastics Australia approved KinderGym club.

What to Wear

A CWG uniform is optional. Children should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely. For safety, clothing must have no zippers or hoods.

CWG shorts, leotards, singlets and tights are available to purchase.
