Please note the Saturday class is a mixed age class covering ages 5-12 years. Children will be split into appropriate age groups.

GymFun and Gym Skills are the next of the three sequential programs within LaunchPad and is specifically designed for children aged between 5 - 12 years old.

GymFun and Gym Skills are just that. FUN! As with all of the programs in LaunchPad, fun is a key element.  If kids are enjoying what they’re doing, they’re more likely to want to do it again…  And again...  And again!  As long as they are safe and repeating skills / activities with great body control, we’re happy for kids to practise as much as they like! 

In GymFun and Gym Skills we focus on the fundamental movement patterns that will help children to then progress into more advanced skills or activities. Our Gym Fun and Gym Skills for girls and boys program focuses on the 4 womens artistic apparatus Vault, bars, beam and floor. Gymnasts will also learn skills on the trampolines and basic partner balances.

Uniform for this class is optional. Children must wear clothing they can move freely in with no zippers or hoods. We have CWG shorts, leotards, singlets and tights available for purchase from the link below
