Joining the Clarence River Sailing Club
New members or anyone who'd like to try out sailing for the first time are always most welcome. Just turn up at the Club any Saturday afternoon from around 1.00 pm and ask for Dennis or Luke. They'll get you on the water in no time. Free temporary membership (SailPass) is provided so there's no cost to newcomers.
If you've already sailed but don't have a boat, you can hire one from the club. We have Lasers, Bics and a Corsair available.
For new sailors and juniors, tuition is available. Crew members are also in demand and this is a great way to learn.
Club racing is conducted on Saturday afternoons from around 2.00 - 2.30 pm - depending on conditions and breeze.
If you decide to join the Club, just download and complete the attached membership form. Copies are also available from the canteen. Alternatively use the online Register / Renewal links.
