Junior Development Squad

CHVA Junior Development Squad is a new Junior Program to encourage more of our junior players to improve their skills to feel confident to play at tournament level.

The program is for players aged 12 to 18 years who are not currently participating in the CHVA junior rep program.

The squad will focus on teaching technical skills, positional play and offensive and defensive matchplay.

The squad will involve weekly training sessions and then participating in tournaments in junior competitions.

Training will be on Thursdays 4.30pm to 5.30pm at Sportz Central on Court 1 during school terms.

Tournaments are held every few months and can require players to travel to participate (eg. Ballina, Port Macquarie)

Participating in the squad training is no cost for CHVA members.
