You don't need to be a paddler to learn to sweep. Anyone is welcome. So maybe ask your teachers, siblings, workmates, or other whanau to give it a go. After some initial training in accordance with the NZDBA Sweep Accreditation Scheme, you can gain further practice by sweeping for school, coportate, or other adult teams whilst under the super vision of a L3 qualified sweep.
