2025 CHA Representative Selectors Panel – Expression of Interest

Cairns Hockey Association is calling for Expressions of Interest for the 2025 Representative Selectors Panel

In 2025, CHA is appointing a Selectors Panel that will oversee all representative trials and team selections. This panel will assist the Coaching Manager with selecting coaches and teams for the 2025 representative team.

The panel will be made up of 2-3 members for boys and 2-3 members for girls. Members of the panel must be present for all representative trials and participate in the selection of teams alongside the Coaching Manager and relevant Team 1 coach.

To be considered:

•             You should have a good knowledge of the boy’s/girl’s competitions in Cairns Hockey
•             You should not have any direct relatives that would be considered for teams
•   You should have extensive experience coaching/selecting teams

Members of this panel must be available to attend the relevant representative trials (not every member may be required at every trial) Current trial dates are:

•             Under 18/Open Trials – Sunday 02/03 (Times TBC)
•             U12/U14/U16 Hawthorn Trials – Sunday 09/03 (Times TBC)

Both club-nominated and individual expressions of interest will be considered.
