FEES - As at 1 Jan 2026:
After an inital two free trial sessions, prospective members are offered "Provisional Membership" for a period of 4 weeks. The cost of this membership is $30 and includes:
- Green fees
- Morning / Afternoon tea
- Use of mallets and equipment
The Annual Club Membership Fee is $280. This can be paid in whole or in four quarterly instalments of $70.
- Additionally, affiliation with the state body CAQ is required of every member. The annual Affiliation Fee is $108 (pro rata payment depending of date of joining). This is payable at the time of taking up club membership.
- Green fees are payable on each day that a member attends to play. These are $6 per player, but capped at $18 in any one week (Sunday to Saturday). A Fee of $10 applies to visitors affiliated with Croquet Australia.
- Green Fees include morning / afternoon tea.
- Junior players (under 21 years) pay half the membership fee and half the affiliation fee.
Mallets are provided for beginners, but members are encouraged to obtain their own. These are available either new or second-hand.
Membership and green fees cover the continuous maintenance and renovation of our 3 lawns, purchase of equipment and payment of utilities and other operational costs. Regular fund-raising efforts supplement the income from fees.
