The Queensland Roller Derby League (QRDL) or ‘Quirdle’ is a committee of hard working volunteers who have donated lot of their free time and knowledge to organise two  major tournaments “Open Season” and “Tropicarnage Cup”,  each year.

The planning of these tournaments is very involved and includes the co-ordination of surrounding leagues, participants,  venue’s, sponsors, programs, commentators, volunteers, non skating officials and referees.  

Both tournaments engage the local community and promote more bouting, reffing and social opportunities for Queensland roller derby leagues.
