BWHA Schools and Development Coaches

 

Come & Try Days / Gala Days
- generally targeting beginners to the sport, these programs are often 'once off' days that give participants a taste of hockey through fun games and activities.
These programs are for non BWHA members (generally school students).

Sporting Schools / Hookin2hockey
- generally targeting beginners to the sport, Sporting Schools & Hookin2Hockey programs run anywhere between 6-10 weeks and teach participants the fundamentals of hockey through fun games and drills.
These programs are for non BWHA members (generally school students).

BWHA Development Programs
- targeting a variety of age groups from U7 to Masters, our development programs offer our members (currently playing club hockey) extended coaching, learning new concepts and techniques passed the basic skills of hockey.

BWHA Representative Teams
- Age groups of U13, U14, U16, U18, Opens and Masters.
These members participate in a thorough selection process to represent Brisbane at the relevant State Championships. BWHA requires coaches for all age groups, who are available to assist in selection trials, pre-tournament training sessions, and attend State Championships with the team. All experiences welcome and encourgaed to be involved.
